DMJM Aviation and the Trump Connection

The DMJM Aviation Tampa office completed an airspace compatibility study for what will be the tallest building in downtown Tampa, as well as the tallest condo on Florida’s west coast, standing 593 feet in height and will be named Trump Tower Tampa, after billionaire real estate developer Donald Trump. 

News of the 52-story, luxury residence tower was confirmed by the Donald himself during a New York press conference.  “We are developing a signature landmark property so spectacular that it will redefine both Tampa’s skyline and the market’s expectations of luxurious condominium living,” stated Trump. 

DMJM Aviation is under contract with Whiting & Ashley LLC, the developer, to provide airspace analysis and clearance assessment in close coordination with the FAA Southern Region, and land-use attorney, Ron Weaver.

The opportunity to work with the local developers and the FAA allows us to achieve success in three ways: participating with diverse professionals in the community, demonstrating our technical knowledge in aviation, and contributing to the positive economic development of Tampa.

Construction is expected to cost in excess of $160 million.
