DMJM Aviation has named Loren Smith as its President and Chief Operating Officer. The announcement was made in the firm's Tampa headquarters by John O'Connor, Chairman and CEO.
DMJM Aviation, an AECOM company, provides program/construction management along with planning, design, and systems engineering at many of the world's largest airports.
Smith, long recognized as one of the leading professionals in the field, is an aviation mega-project expert. He oversees the company's far-flung operations including major engagements in Philadelphia, Chicago, Miami, Washington, D.C., San Diego, Ft. Myers, Phoenix, and Houston.
A registered professional engineer in several states, Smith holds both B.S. and M.S. degrees in Civil Engineering from Oregon State University and is a veteran of the U.S. Navy.
