Houston Airports Systems, Houston, Texas
Master Planning and Engineering Assignments
DMJM Aviation has completed multiple engineering assignments for the Houston Airports System at both George Bush Intercontinental/Houston (IAH) and William P. Hobby (HOU) airports. In addition, DMJM Aviation is currently leading a 14-firm team of experts in the preparation of an airport master plan update for IAH. As part of the master planning effort, DMJM Aviation is using the SIMMOD model to complete an airside analysis documenting the need for, and properly locating, a potential fourth independent parallel arrival runway—which would create the country’s first quadruple IFR runway configuration.
