Dulles International and Ronald Reagan Washington National Airports
PM Services for Capital Development Program
As part of a joint venture partnership, DMJM Aviation is providing program management services in support of the Metropolitan Washington Airports Authority’s $5.4 billion capital development program.
DMJM Aviation has helped put into place more than 150 projects at National and Dulles Airports since 1988. At Ronald Reagan Washington National Airport (DCA), the program has virtually rebuilt the entire airport. Phase II at Dulles International Airport (IAD) has added $3.2 billion worth of improvements to the initial $2.2 billion dollar program.
Key project facts

The award-winning, new 35-gate terminal at DCA was constructed while never losing a single gate of capacity for the airlines and adding a new FAA Air Traffic Control Tower and TRACON

-
Virtually every airfield pavement area at DCA (175,000 square yards of portland cement concrete, and 316,845 square yards of asphaltic paving) has been replaced or rehabilitated
-
The program at IAD doubled the size of the historic Eero Saarinen-designed terminal, built the new 2,400-passenger-per-hour international arrivals building, and built a new midfield concourse
-
Phase II at IAD includes construction of underground stations and tunnels to accommodate the new Airport Train System, a new ATCT, new fourth runway, and a new 44-gate midfield concourse
